9:00 am I noticed this little nest hanging on the garage on the way to M's piano lesson.
11:00 am I was surprised to see the progress in such a short time.
Here is the busy little bee at work.
I thought the wet ring around the base was interesting...I watched it go around in circles for about 10 minutes.
Ew. You're getting rid of it before he invites his whole family over for a bar-b-que, right?

ReplyDeleteTug: The bbq is this Friday and there is a nest in the grill too. I guess I'm going to be busy in the moment before the guests arrive!
ReplyDeleteSamantha: I was actually standing on a plastic chair and holding my camera an inch away from the nest because I was using the macro setting! :)
The wet ring is new construction. I think that the wasp is "spitting" out chewed up wood to build the hive.
